The following is a link to an alternative approach of how FreeCAD deals with
minkowski requests,
rather than use meshes the two Objects involved are converted to FreeCAD
objects and colour coded,
green (first), red (second). The idea is that users can then deal with the
two objects in FreeCAD i.e.
apply fillets, delete other object etc. i.e. The conversion should be more
robust, but leave more
work for the user in FreeCAD
