trouble using include

Frank schiro
Hi I was following some tutorial and the dude uses include. I tried to do it but im getting errors that its not seeing the variables from the included statement. its pretty simple code :

include<parameters.scad>;

union(){

       cube([servo_w1, servo_h1],center=true);

}

where parameters.scads the name of the file. any idea what im doing wrong?

It doesn't need a semi colon after the > but I don't think that is the problem. More likely it can't find the file. Some versions have a bug where there is no error message.

Make sure there's a space between "include" and "<...>":

include <parameters.scad>

Also check the included file for missing ";" characters. That sometimes bites me.
