creating arbitrary curved object with openscad - a teapot handle cover

I made an interesting usage of minkowski() I think. I wanted a wraparound cover for a metal teapot handle, and found quite a nice solution for this. I did a complete writeup and posted at Instructables, https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printing-a-Wraparound-Shell-for-a-Teapot-Handle/ 3D print image I tried to generalize my solution a bit, and the .scad file is also there.
