Time for new release?

kintel
Administrator
Hi guys,

It's been a while since the last release. A number of things have been fixed since then, although I feel it's mostly stability, performance issues and bug fixes.
I feel it's time to make a new release. Before doing that, I'd like to know if anyone know of bugs or issues in the current master which would be considered showstoppers for this release?

Cheers,

 -Marius

Hi

The windows cross compile seems broken, I'm working on it.

Re: Time for new release?

The fonts seem a little big on a 1024x768 monitor. Also, the changing
of the size of the fonts by hitting ctrl - seems to not be saved
between sessions - its only saved if you go into 'preferences' and
change it there.  I had a patch I was working on to fix this latter
problem but i haven't submitted it yet.

Hi,

I was never able to find the preference settings anywhere.
I use OpenSCAD 2012.04.01 (git c869c6e) on a windows system.
Are they accessible under windows at all?

One thing that would nice if it worked is overriding variables on the command line. I think it currently only works for variables in the top level file.

In reply to this post by Peter Falke
Hi Peter

It should be under Edit/Preferences/Editor, with a font name and a
font size. Does windows not show this popup?

Marius, font-size patch is pull-requested. There is still a crashbug
issue open of course:

Could you write up a small example of how this works today vs. how you'd wish it would work, as a starting point?
