GUI not functional since MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 update

macdarren
both the latest RC snapshot and an older version 2015.03-3 macports install
seem to have developed a major GUI issue on my macbook pro.  Both were
working prior to update.  the downloaded version from the disk image shows
only a blank gray screen....function seem to work but there is no editor,
console or geometry panels.  The macports version will show the editor and
console but a black panel where the geometry would normally reside.

version 2018.11.25 (git bfb96c6a) from another similar machine seems to work
fine.  This other machine also works fine with the latest RC
snapshot...possibly something went wrong in the OS update but there seem to
be no other issues of this type.

Could you open a GitHub issue so we can easier track this?
