I noticed that there is no current maintainer for the OpenSCAD AUR
(Arch Linux). I would be willing to take up that role, if no one else
is interested. I post this here because I'm aware that devs for
OpenSCAD watch this list, and I'm not sure if any pay attention to
Arch.

You might want to get in touch with Chrysn, who at least has been working on Debian packages:

Apart from that, Clifford is still doing the official binary builds.

In general, my impression is that the Linux build setup could be streamlined a bit, so if anything you might be doing could benefit casual building of OpenSCAD under Linux, it would be awesome.
