Re: Building a list of vectors

I compiled the latest version from github and I don't have a
'Features' tab in preferences either.

Did I have to uninstall/remove the release version of OpenSCAD first
before compiling and installing the development version?

Stefaan

If you run just "qmake" in the latest version in git / master branch, you should get an info message like:

"Project MESSAGE: If you're building a development binary, consider adding CONFIG+=experimental"

This means you will not get the experimental features.

Calling "qmake CONFIG+=experimental" will produce no message and configure a version that includes those features.

The Linux dev-snapshots are updated (with the experimental features enabled).

I compiled openscad again after building a new makefile with "qmake CONFIG+=experimental".
i.e. make clean, make and sudo make install
But experimental features are still not enabled (I still get a warning: Experimental builtin function 'concat' is not enabled.)

BTW: I first added 'CONFIG += experimental to openscad.pro but that didn't help either.

What else can I try?

So compilation and installation was fine. You should now have a "Features" preferences tab where it can be enabled / disabled (default is disabled, which causes the new warning).

I forgot that I still had to go to 'preferences -> features and enable
concat... :-/
